LONG Building Technologies was founded in 1965 as a manufacturer representative of HVAC equipment, and is a regional company with offices in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and Nevada.They had been using several custom Access databases to capture job tracking, cost and sales price data. Customized Outlook forms were developed to manage Outlook calendars, which were used to facilitate bid-management and manual processes within their Great Plains accounting system.
Their systems had multiple duplicate-data issues within their Great Plains application and other customized databases. Throughout their business units and across their enterprise, the client required immediate process changes that needed to be re-thought and implemented.
